On Saturday, we had my birthday party. I wanted to invite lots of people, but Mommy and Daddy said our house didn't have enough room to fit all of my friends and fans . . . so we were only able to invite family and 2 friends. Mommy and Daddy promised me that I can invite family, all my friends, and Fans next year for my 2nd birthday party.
Now for the details of the party (I tried to get Gossip Girl to write about the party, but she was busy writing about Chuck and Blair . . . so I guess I will have to fill you in).
On Friday, I had a pre-party with Grandma Fredda and opened my pre-party gift (they were some cute socks). Here is a picture of yours truly opening my most fabulous gift:
Unfortunately, a cold front moved in Friday evening and I started getting a runny nose and a cough . . . . Ewwwww !!! This little princess did not want to feel sick for her big party.The Who is Who of Texas attended the party. My Aunt Maylee and Lance came in from Cow Town. Aunts Alyssa and Ashley, and Uncle Joe (and my cousins Slaton, Lexi, and Riley) came in from The Abilene, TX.

Of course, Grandma Pat & Grandpa Joe, Uncle Chris & Christina, Great Aunt Sharon, Mark, Valerie & Isabella and Grandma Ruth were there too.Now for the food. Daddy picked up some Kirkland Pizza . . . Yes I said Kirkland . . . . as in Costco Pizza. Mommy was shopping at Costco a couple of weeks ago and picked up a slice of pizza at Costco and thought it was divine. She asked the folks at Costco if she could order entire pizzas instead of a couple of slices and they said yes. So Daddy picked up five huge pizzas from Costco and that was the main course (for everyone except me since I can't eat pizza yet).
As far as deserts are concerned, Grandma Sicinski picked up some cupcakes from R.J. Goodies up in Klein, TX. Here is a picture of the cupcakes sitting on the cupcake stand.

Everyone sang the time honored rendition of Happy Birthday to me and Daddy put a candle on the cupcake.

Since I digress. . . it is probably good for me to talk about the rest of the day. I didn't eat any of the cupcake Mommy and Daddy gave me. Since I felt sick, I didn't have much of an appetite. So Daddy picked me up out of the high chair and fed me a bottle. Grandma Ruth then rocked me and put me down for a big nap.

Here is the present I received from Uncle Chris. He went to Bloomingdales when he was in New York City and picked it out just for me. I think I am going to wear this at the Rehearsal Dinner for Uncle Scott's wedding.

I am blessed with many family, friends, and fans. I received lots of gifts including many cute outfits, shoes, flipflops, two swimsuits, two toys, lots of books, a pair of sunglasses, a new bag, and a soft stuffed toy. I will be mailing the thank you cards shortly. As is tradition for a birthday party, I provided everyone with party favors.
I was still sleeping at this point, so my cousins went to the Park. Here is Lexi going round and round at the Park:

I woke up from my nap and decided to eat dinner. My Daddy insisted that I have more cupcake since I didn't eat any earlier. I still didn't eat it. Mommy says that I may not have her sweet tooth after all (or yet).
After I ate, I played with Lexi and Riley.
Eventually it was time for "bath time"! Aunt Ashley and Aunt Alyssa joined me and showed me how to squirt water out of my turtle toys. My Mommy hadn't thought of that game yet, but knows how to play it now.
