The kids were really into their sunglasses today. Of course Lane is wearing a pair of Reese's! They were so excited and had even shared and traded.
Reese got a new hair do two weeks back. She was getting so hot that we decided to go short for the rest of the summer! Especially because she will not let me pull it back or braid it. Her hair grows so fast it'll be long again by winter.
When I dropped them off at school Lane's friend Channing who is almost 2 said, "Hi Lane!" It was so cute.
Then Reese insisted that she be able to wear her sunglasses when they went out to play later in the morning. Her teacher obliged.
After school I took the kids to Cleburne Cafeteria for dinner. We dined on turkey and dressing, mac n cheese, green beans, blue jello, watermelon and a muffin. It was delish! Reese liked the cranberry sauce and Lane liked the muffin. Yummy.
Then Lane had to have those sunglasses again.
Speaking of 2 - Lane will be 2 years old in October. How is that possible? His terrible two's are fairly minor at this point. When he doesn't get his way he immediately lays face down on his belly like superman and whines for about 10 seconds. That is the extent of it now. Not bad! Let's hope I didn't just completely jinx the whole thing.
